This game uses 8 decks of cards (52 cards per deck), There are 416 cards in total. The dealer deals two cards. The two cards will be dealt face up, one to the Dragon first, then to the Tiger. The win or lose is not counted by suits, only points. K is the highest point, A is the lowest point. After the cards are opened, the side with higher total wins.

Player can wager on whether the Tiger's hand or the Dragon's hand has the higher points of card. The dragon wins if it's higher. The tiger wins if it's higher. The same point value is a tie.

Eight pre-shuffled decks are used in the game. When a new set of pre-shuffled cards arrive at the table, the cards are placed in the shoe and the dealer places a divider into the new set of cards. Once the divider is dealt with, the dealer announced that the cards will be replaced in the following round. Each time a new set of cards arrives at the table, all previous cards are removed. Additional shuffled card is performed at the table before placing new cards into the shoe.
New shoe card burn: At the beginning of each new shoe, the dealer draws the first card from the shoe face up, then the number of cards corresponding to the value of the first card will be burned ( i.e. discarded) face down.
